Every element of the TaylorMade Burner Irons is engineered to work with the next to promote more speed and more distance.The long-, middle- and short-irons were separately engineered so you get long and forgiving long-irons, long and accurate middle-irons and accurate and responsive short-irons. 

And the inverted Cone Technology offers an extra-large sweet spot for added forgiveness on off-center hits for greater distance consistency from shot to shot. A multi-functional sole creates a low CG (center of gravity) position while reducing turf-drag and promoting the exceptional playability of a thin sole while the multi-material cavity badge dampens vibration and sound to promote extraordinary feel.

Main Features:

*A thinner clubface, thinnest in the long irons (3-5) but not quite as thin in the middle irons (6-8), with the short irons a little thicker than both.

*Inverted Cone Technology in all.

*Larger clubhead sizes in the long and mid-irons.

*Wider soles, but not quite as wide in the middle irons as in the long, nor in the short irons as in the middle.

*Thicker topline, but again, the long irons having the thickest.

*More offset in the long irons.
